We offer a choice of two films: “Solanus Casey – Priest, Poter, Prophet”, a complete biography of Blessed Father Solanus, which includes his exhumation. This film is 90 minutes and is the most complete version of his life other than one of the biographical books.
There would be a break part way through this film. The other film, is only 60 minutes, and gives an overview of his life, “Solanus Casey” is part of the They would be Saints series for ESPN. This film includes the miracle that led to his beatification.
Either film will give you a sense of who Father Solanus Case is and was. There would be time after either film to share experiences the group may have had with Father Solanus, and for Friends of Father Solanus to tell the story of achieving the First Class Relic.
We have several items for you to take as remembrance of your visit.

This option includes both a film and time in the Outdoor Way of the cross. The film, “Mary, Life after Jesus,” gave us inspiration for our outdoor stations. The apostle John built a home for Mary in the hills of Ephesus. It was outside this home that Mary built the first Woodland Way of the Cross.
Mary had followed Jesus path to the Cross every day after his crucifixion while she remained in Jerusalem. She knew the path well, and how many steps between each event, between each fall. So, when it was no longer safe for the mother of Jesus to be in Jerusalem, she could recreate His path at her new home in Ephe-sus.
The location of Mary’s home was given in vision to an Augustinian nun, Anne Catherine Emmerich. Nuns living near Ephesus, reading the work of Blessed Ann Catherine, convinced a group of monks to make the search which was successful. Mary’s home is now a shrine.
At the end of our Stations of the Cross we have a meditation space, where one can reflect on His suffering, and that of His Mother’s Love.
